Duties, Tariffs, Taxes

As a proud Canadian small business devoted to serving international pinball enthusiasts, I've relied on the once-helpful U.S. “de minimis” threshold—packages under 800USD to their recipients duty-free, making my pinball products both affordable and accessible. But as of August 29, 2025, that welcome exemption has been eliminated, and now all shipments, regardless of value, are subject to customs duties and taxes up front. US officials keep stipulating that other countries pay the tariffs / duties. As your invoice will show, this is far from the truth. Hopefully you won't take it against me, the sole freelancer / designer / pinhead that makes everything on this site to fund my pinball addiction and my passion with design.
